Abstract: This collection consists of records created by Montana Office of Public Instruction [OPI] and its various divisions, as well as the Superintendent of OPI. Records include correspondence, reports, case hearings, financial data from county school districts, teacher certification materials, as well as accrediation materials for teacher education programs.

Walter Huss papers, 1964-2006

Abstract: Walter Huss (1918-2006) was a reverend, a businessman, a conservative who competed in Republican primaries in Oregon, and was chair of the Oregon Republican party from 1978-1979. The collection contains subject files on a variety of topics including conservative politics, Foursquare church and ministry, alternative medicine, Christian schools, and materials include financial records, correspondence, pamphlets, clippings, and other printed matter, audio, and video tapes.
O. Meredith Wilson papers, 1929-1989

Abstract: This collection comprises the papers of prolific university administrator O. Meredith Wilson, who served as the ninth president of the University of Oregon, 1954-1959, the president of the University of Minnesota, 1959-1967, and the director of the Stanford Center for Advanced Study in the Behavioral Sciences (CASBS), 1967-1975. The collection includes correspondence, writings, speeches, and sources reflecting his career as an administrator and as a scholar of education. It also includes personal material revealing his role as father, son, and husband. Of particular note is the manuscript for his collected essays, which was never published. The collection of his administrative consultations reveals the breadth of his expertise and involvement with the social function of higher education.
