Historical Note
Since four years after its 1890 founding, Washington State University participated in intercollegiate football. Filming of those competitions began in the 1920s and continues today.
Content Description
The collection consists of films of Washington State University football games from 1986-1988. The motion pictures made for coaching purposes during this period were the last of a long series made with chemical photography film. Beginning in 1989, the games were recorded with video tape.
