August 10-12, 1970 2: Nelson Blank with his brand new Cowe 10" reflector f/7 on the peak day of the Perseid Meteor Shower. August 12, 1970. We tapex recorded it for 1 hr with Mark Whittaker. We also tested his new scope Miraleste, California. My 2.4" f/15 refractor is off to the left. My 1.6" guide scope is on the bench. 3: Orion belt and Nebulace enlarged from the often shot 4: The moon (2 or 3 dups old) throw a telephoto lense (220 mm) 5:: The moon, no words on back 6: Orion.
