David J. Buerger photograph collection contains photographs and slides relating to changes in Mormon Church temple rites and ceremonies. The collection also includes slides used in a presentation at the Sunstone Symposium, 1988.

This collection documents early symbols in the history of Mormonism relating to documents and letters from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (L.D.S.) First Presidency regarding changes in temple ceremonies and practices.
Twenty-four hour advanced notice encouraged. Materials must be used on-site. Access to parts of this collection may be restricted under provisions of state or federal law.

- 2: Nelson Blank with his brand new Cowe 10" reflector f/7 on the peak day of the Perseid Meteor Shower. August 12, 1970. We tapex recorded it for 1 hr with Mark Whittaker. We also tested his new scope Miraleste, California. My 2.4" f/15 refractor is off to the left. My 1.6" guide scope is on the bench.
