Historical Note
The Student Entertainment Service began at Utah State University in 1963 as a branch of ASUSU. It was founded by Gerald Sheratt to create entertainment programs that would both help students develop their talents and to draw attention to the University. In 1967, Richard Watkins was hired to oversee the program. The program quickly grew to include its own recording studio as well as several different vocal and dance groups which performed both close to home as well as in Europe.
