Scope and Content: History of the activities of the Japanese who cleared Bellevue area before World War II. Detailed description of development, establishment of communication system (roads, railway, etc.), living conditions, and struggle over the land.

Accession includes translation of Asaichi Tsushima memoir on Japanese farms in Bellevue.
