Biographical Note
Glant was born in Seattle in 1942 and graduated from Lakeside School before attending Stanford University. In 1974, he became President CEO of his family's scrap metal business Pacific Iron & Metal. He has been active in the Anti-Defamation League, the American Jewish Committee, and Young Presidents Organization, as well as writing and teaching about U.S. popular culture.

Oral history interview conducted on December 17, 2007 with Judith Adler. Glant discusses his early childhood memories at Temple de Hirsch, his education and family life, the history of his family business Pacific Iron & Metal , and his experiences with anti-Semitism. Names mentioned include the Glendale Country Club, Jules Glant, Rabbi Daniel Weiner, Jack Benny, Frank Sinatra, Also includes two photographs of the Glant family as well as a certificate of appreciation for Jules Glant from Temple de Hirsch Sinai (1974)
