Historical Note
The WSU President’s Residence was built in 1912, though not ready for occupation until 1913. In addition to serving as a Pullman home for the President, it also served as a place to host events and guests. At the end of 2022, with the building now housing the Chancellor instead of the President, the building was renamed the Anderson House.

Processing Note
University Archivist Mark O’English accessioned this collection in August of 2022. Physical scrapbooks were unbound and foldered, retaining their original orders, and could effectively be considered processed. The digital CDs and DVDs have been copied to archival storage, and are retained here. Some with no effective ties to WSU were discarded, and five were non-salvageable, but the other are retained. These still need to be evaluated to determine if they need kept, and organized and described.
