			<p>The WSU President’s Residence was built in 1912, though not ready for occupation
				until 1913. In addition to serving as a Pullman home for the President, it also
				served as a place to host events and guests. At the end of 2022, with the building
				now housing the Chancellor instead of the President, the building was renamed the
				Anderson House.</p>

			<p>The collection consists of scrapbooks, images, and documents relating to events held
				in the President’s Residence for Washington State University, in Pullman, WA.
				Physcial scrapbooks cover 1993-2004, with a few additional events through 2007. CDs
				and DVDs cover 1997-2017. Box one contains the print materials and unbound
				scrapbooks, box two contains the digital materials, CDS and DVDs.</p>

			<p>This is an unprocessed collection. Any arrangement reflects either a pre-existing
				order from the records' creators or previous custodians, or preliminary sorting
				performed by staff. </p>
			<p>The printed materials in box one are foldered and arranged in a chronological order,
				with a few specific events at the end. The digital materials in box two are retained
				primarily in their original order.</p>

			<p>Kristi Tattershall of the President’s Office donated this collection to the
				Washington State University Libraries on February 10, 2022, where they were retained
				as UA 2022-03.</p>

			<p>University Archivist Mark O’English accessioned this collection in August of 2022.
				Physical scrapbooks were unbound and foldered, retaining their original orders, and
				could effectively be considered processed. The digital CDs and DVDs have been copied
				to archival storage, and are retained here. Some with no effective ties to WSU were
				discarded, and five were non-salvageable, but the other are retained. These still
				need to be evaluated to determine if they need kept, and organized and
				described.</p>
