Historical Note

The Atmospheric Research Laboratory can be traced back to the 1960's but was reorganized under the School of Engineering in 1984. Students and Professors within the ARL courses were often Civil or Environmental Engineers. ARL courses were available at the undergraduate, masters, and Ph.D. level. This department has gone through multiple reorganization but still exists as of 2022 within the School of Engineering.
