			<p>The Atmospheric Research Laboratory can be traced back to the 1960's but was reorganized under the School of Engineering in 1984. Students and Professors within the ARL courses were often Civil or Environmental Engineers. ARL courses were available at the undergraduate, masters, and Ph.D. level. This department has gone through multiple reorganization but still exists as of 2022 within the School of Engineering. </p>

			<p>This collection includes experiment files and folders from 1967-1978. Photograph results from experiments, as well as experiment instructions are included in this collection. Files for the Plywood Research Foundation experiment, and the Fair Ground temperature experiment files.  </p>

			<p>This is an unprocessed collection. Any arrangement reflects either a pre-existing order from the records' creators or previous custodians, or preliminary sorting performed by staff. </p><p>Most files are organized into subject matter folders. All boxes contain an assortment of photos, scientific reports on ice-caps and air pollution, as well as other scientific experiments. Also includes budget reports for trips and supplies and material related to biology and chemistry curriculum. </p>
