Gladys Young Orlob was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, on 21 June 1894 to Joseph Don Carlos Young and Alice Naomi Dowden Young. She married Rudolph Frank Orlob on 18 May 1918. She died on 9 August 1980. She was a granddaughter of Brigham Young.
