Historical NoteReturn to Top
Ray Palmer Tracy (1886-1966) was born in West Charleston, Vermont. He spent his early years on a cattle ranch in northern California. He attended Oregon Agricultural College (now Oregon State University), worked as a teamster, ranch hand, and forest ranger. He became an author of western stories and novels. He lived in Condon, Oregon.
