Biographical NoteReturn to Top
Robert Harris (Bob) Miller (1919-2002) was born on February 5th in Tacoma, Washington to parents George H. Miller and Estelle Harris. He was a graduate of the University of Washington, and began his career in photography in the Pacific Theater of World War II working for the United States Navy. He worked as a photographer for the Seattle Post-Intelligencer for almost 30 years before retiring in 1981. In addition to photography, he was a painter and sculptor. Miller and his wife Janice had two children, Suzanne and Mark.
