		  Seattle photojournalist who worked as a staff photographer for the Seattle
		  Post-Intelligencer newspaper</abstract></did><bioghist encodinganalog="5450_" id="a2"><p>Robert Harris (Bob) Miller (1919-2002) was born on February 5th in
		  Tacoma, Washington to parents George H. Miller and Estelle Harris. He was a
		  graduate of the University of Washington, and began his career in photography
		  in the Pacific Theater of World War II working for the United States Navy. He
		  worked as a photographer for the Seattle Post-Intelligencer for almost 30 years
		  before retiring in 1981. In addition to photography, he was a painter and
		  sculptor. Miller and his wife Janice had two children, Suzanne and Mark. </p><p>Sources: "Past Photographer at P-I, Personable Robert Miller Dies."
