Historical NoteReturn to Top
Lloyd Haefka was in the original Lone Scouts, a scouting program for rural youth; which existed from 1915 to 1924. The Lone Scouts failed financially so he joined the Elbeetian Legion which was an adult successor to the Lone Scouts.

The Lloyd C. Haefka Lone Scout papers contain copies of the Elbeetee, which was the Elbeetian Legion’s house organ. It also contains copies of the local tribal publication, The Old Timer, and some handbooks and snapshots from a convention in 1933.
