  	<head>Biography of Lloyd C. Haefka</head><p>Lloyd Haefka was in the original Lone Scouts, a scouting program for rural youth; which existed from 1915 to 1924.  The Lone Scouts failed financially so he joined the Elbeetian Legion which was an adult successor to the Lone Scouts.</p>

  	<head>Scope and Content</head><p>The Lloyd C. Haefka Lone Scout papers contain copies of the <emph render="italic">Elbeetee,</emph> which was the Elbeetian Legion’s house organ.  It also contains copies of the local tribal publication, <emph render="italic">The Old Timer,</emph> and some handbooks and snapshots from a convention in 1933.</p>
