Historical Note

The Northern State Bank was founded by Richard G. Bennett, Harold L. Damiano, J.A. Robideaux, Sr., Manuel Schneidmiller, Parker G. Woodall, and John M. Richards in 1977. The Articles of Incorporation were filed with the state in 1978. In 1977, Northern State Bank was acquired by Washington Trust Bank.

This collection contains photocopies of correspondence sent to the Idaho Secretrary of State and County Recorder's office along with the Articles of Incorporation for the Norban Financial Group, Inc. and the Northern State Bank. Also included in this collection are documents establishing accounts with various other banks. Materials in this collection range in date from 1977 to 1983.
