Content Description
The papers consist of holographs and manuscript copies of Mr. Hegnauer's writings, principally his unpublished autobiography, Eighty-six Golden Years, which he wrote with the assistance of Ella Clark, between 1954 and 1958. The autobiography, in addition to personal and family history, includes a lengthy discussion of such matters as agricultural history in the midwest and western states, agricultural practices, technology and education, and the history of Washington State University.
