The Walla Walla Park and Civic Arts Club was originally founded as the Women's Civic Club, in 1906. It was officially founded in 1908 in an attempt to beautify the city of Walla Walla, Washington. The president of the club was Grace Isaacs, a prominent member of Walla Walla during the early 1900s. Her and a group of eighteen women worked on the development of Pioneer Park, Dreamland Park, and other parks in the Walla Walla area.
