The Walla Walla Park and Civic Arts Club was originally founded as the Women's Civic Club, in 1906. It was officially founded in 1908 in an attempt to beautify the city of Walla Walla, Washington. The president of the club was Grace Isaacs, a prominent member of Walla Walla during the early 1900s. Her and a group of eighteen women worked on the development of Pioneer Park, Dreamland Park, and other parks in the Walla Walla area.

The Walla Walla Park and Civic Arts Club Records houses records from the Walla Walla Park and Civic Arts Club, located in Walla Walla, Washington. These records span from 1898 to 2001, and consist of correspondence, minute books, fundraising ephemera, club by-laws, and financial statements. Also included is a booklet titled, "The Walla Walla Parks, Their Story," and numerous newspaper clippings describe the work of this organization, and the people who were involved. This collection provides insight into the development of the public parks in Walla Walla and the importance of civic engagement, especially by the women, throughout the early and mid-twentieth century.
