- Color slides depicting the construction and opening ceremony for the First National Bank of Oregon building at 1300 SE 5th Ave. in Portland, Oregon. The building is now the Wells Fargo Center. Ralph J. Voss (1910-2002) was president of the bank and oversaw the project to construct its headquarters. The building was reported by the Oregonian newspaper to be the tallest in the state at the time of its construction.

Historical NoteReturn to Top
Ralph J. Voss (1910-2002) was the president of the First National Bank of Oregon in Portland, and oversaw the project to construct the bank's headquarters. The building was designed by Charles Luckman Associates and built by the Hoffman Construction Co., and its office tower was reported by the Oregonian newspaper to be the tallest building in Oregon at the time of its construction. The building was dedicated on May 25, 1972.
