Marilyn Ross Allen lived in Atlanta, Georgia, sometime before 1947. She then moved to Ohio, before settling in Salt Lake City, Utah. She is a political conservative, anti-communist, and anti-ethnic-minority author. She wrote the book Alien Minorities and Mongrelization and the pamphlet series I Love America.

The Marilyn R. Allen papers contain published and unpublished contain manuscripts, circulars, and articles. A significant portion of the collection is news clippings, which are arranged topically. News clippings include letters to the editor written by Marilyn R. Allen.

Boxes one and two contain Marilyn Allen's personal work, including manuscripts, notes, published pamphlets and correspondence to the editors of the Salt Lake Tribune. Boxes three and four are arranged topically, and include news clippings and pamphlets.
