Abstract: This is a collection of various maps gathered by the Center for Pacific Northwest Studies. They include navigation maps, maps of the Pacific Northwest, bird's-eye view maps, aeromagnetic and scintillometer survey maps, railroad maps, and powerline profile maps.

Historic Oregon Topographic Maps, 1898-1993

Abstract: The Historic Oregon Topographic Maps consist of superceded or obsolete topographic maps published by the U.S. Geological Survey. The maps cover all of Oregon and are available in a variety of scales, from 1:24,000 to 1:250,000.

Oregon State University Campus Maps, 1894-1994

Abstract: The Oregon State University Campus Maps document the development of the Oregon State campus from the 1890s through the 1990s. The collection includes campus guides and visitor maps; detailed surveys; campus plans; and maps showing buildings, roads, and walkways. The inital land for the current Oregon State University campus in Corvallis, Oregon, was purchased in 1871.

Abstract: The State of Oregon Maps Collection includes a diverse selection of maps of the full state of Oregon as well as counties, cities, and regions. Topics of the maps include geology, soils, agriculture, recreation, traffic flow, dams and reservoirs, land use, and physiography.

Oregon Drainage Basin Maps, 1957-1992

Abstract: The Oregon Drainage Basin Maps include statewide maps as well as maps for individual basins. The maps define basin boundaries and depict the rivers and streams within each basin (or watershed). Land use maps for several of the basins are also part of the collection.

Abstract: The Donald B. Zobel Collection of Historic Forestry and Vegetations Maps consist of maps assembled and created by Zobel for his research in forest ecology and for teaching; the bulk of the maps depict forests in Oregon and northern California. Zobel was a faculty member in the Oregon State University Department of Botany and Plant Pathology from 1968 until 2003.

Abstract: The Oregon Transportation Maps were prepared by the U.S. Public Roads Administration and document transportation in Oregon, immediately preceding and during World War II, in 1940 and 1944. The maps depict highways, railroads, canals, air lanes, and dredged channels.
