Abstract: The OHSU Strategic Communications office manages the media produced by and about the university, including major news stories and events. The department has held different names over the years, including University Relations and Public Affairs, University News and Publications, and the Communications Office. The collection, spanning 1960-2011, consists of a variety of non-print media formats created by the department, including audio cassettes, VHS and Beta cassettes, DVDs, CDs, reel to reel film, and 35 mm slides.
Herbert Merton and Jeanne Todd Greene papers, 1849-2003

Abstract: The collection consists of materials that pertain to the life and work of Herbert Merton Greene, M.D., and his wife, Jeanne Todd Greene, centering around Greene's work as a civilian and military physician as well as membership in the Freemasonry and the Anglo-Saxon Christian Association. As well, materials surrounding Jeanne Todd Greene's education, work, and life as a nurse both before and during World War I are included.
Alice M. Stewart interviews, 1984-1990

Abstract: Dr. Alice Stewart (1906-2002) was a British radiologist recognized for her groundbreaking research on social medicine and the effects of radiation exposure on health. Dr. Stewart's notable research includes her studies of pediatric cancers related to X-rays, the health effects of working with TNT, and the investigation of health outcomes at the Hanford plutonium plant. This collection contains materials from 1984 to 1990 and contains audio cassettes and speech and interview transcripts. The majority of the content in this collection was created during Dr. Stewart's sabbatical in Portland, Oregon in 1984.
