Abstract: The Flora Stewart Bennion photograph collection contains photographs documenting the nursing career in the U. S. Army of Flora Stewart Bennion, chiefly in Europe during World War I. Included in the collection are photographs taken in Italy after the war and a few photographs of activities at LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah, circa 1904.

Abstract: Ruth Evelyn Morse (1899-1983) taught in American Indian schools and was employed by the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) and her husband, Austin Flint Parkhurst (1885-1965), was in the Navy during WWI and became a radio engineer. The collection contains personal and professional records of Ruth Parkhurst, including her career as a teacher in American Indian schools and her work with the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) as well as personal and professional (mostly military) records of Austin Parkhurst, and photographs and negatives of Europe during WWI.
