Champion International Corporation scrapbooks, 1986-1988

Abstract: This collection includes three Champion International Corporation scrapbooks from 1986-1988 made up of articles gathered by a clipping service from a variety of Montana newspapers as well as a few from Idaho, Oregon and Washington. The topics include Champion, Burlington Northern Railway, forests, timber, logging, fire districts, EPA, water resources, water use, power, taxes, politics, and wilderness, the last being particularly dominant in 1988.
