This is a collection of five original photo postcards from the early 1900s depicting homesteaders, horses, and homesteads in Montana. Some of the individuals and locations have been tentatively identified, while others remain unknown.

John Kern Lovell lived in Circle, McCone County, Montana. He was born in 1887, married in 1912, and died in 1970. [Lovell is spelled Lovel on the postcard.]
