Historical Note

Sheldon Glueck (1896-1980) and Eleanor T. Glueck (1898-1972) were a criminologists. Together they collaborated on research into juvenile delinquency. They were known for developing the Social Prediction Tables that were used to predict the likelihood of delinquency and rehabilitation. Their research was among the first to study chronic juvenile delinquency and effects of psychopathy. They also claimed that using the Social Prediction Tables could predict juvenile delinquency probability as young as age six.
