Andrew Heber Wardle (1877-1899) was the grandson of Frances Rushton and George Wardle, who migrated to Utah in the Willard Richards Company in 1848. This collection contains cabinet cards depicting the Wardle family in the nineteenth century.

Biographical Note

Andrew Heber Wardle was born on August 12, 1877 in Glenwood, Utah, to Betsey Orinda Thompson and Edwin Ralph Wardle. His grandparents, Frances Rushton and George Wardle, migrated to Utah in the Willard Richards Company in 1848; his father, Edwin Wardle, was born in Wyoming during their journey. Andrew Wardle died on February 26, 1899, at the age of 21.
