Personnel records, forms, reports, manuals of distribution schemes for various states, memoranda, and other records, of U.S. Railway Mail Service, chiefly relating to mail trains between Seattle, Washington, and Williston, North Dakota, via Spokane, Washington; correspondence, scrapbook, clippings, and other records, of Retired Railway Postal Clerks' Club of Spokane; correspondence, charters, minutes, newsletters, convention materials, clippings, and other records, of United Federation of Postal Clerks and its predecessors, Railway Mail Association and National Postal Transport Association; and miscellaneous records of U.S. Post Office Dept., and various organizations and companies. Subjects include highway post offices, work procedures, health and accident benefits, schedules, working conditions, and the operation of railway postal cars in the Pacific Northwest.
