Content Description

The University of Wyoming ephemera collection contains materials regarding the 4 year land-grant school, located in Laramie, Wyoming, on the Laramie Plains between the Laramie and Snowy Range Mountains, which was founded in March 1886 (four years before the Wyoming territory was admitted as the 44th state) and opened in September 1887. The collection includes artifacts, photographs, motion picture film, scrapbooks, and printed materials regarding the University of Wyoming and it's relation to the surrounding community from the late 19th century to the present.
