Biographical Note
Arthur Kempster was a street railway official. He managed Puget Sound Traction, Light & Power Company, Seattle Division until 1920, when he moved to New Orleans to head the New Orleans Railways and Light Company. He died in 1924.

circa 50 itemsScope and Content: Includes a report Kempster made for Stone & Webster about The New York Railway Company. Also, letters from Frank (possibly their son), from the WWI theatre.

Acquisition Info: Purchased from Shorey's as part of Mr. Kempster's scrapbook collection which is housed in Spec. Coll., 8/13/1965.
