Historical Note
Otto Anderson maintained a private mining museum and rock shop in Telluride, Colorado, until 1979 when he transferred the documentary material to the American Heritage Center.
Content Description
The collection contains documents and printed material pertaining to mining in the Telluride, Colorado, area and to businesses in the town of Telluride. Included are blueprints, catalogs of suppliers (1861-1929), certificates, checks, correspondence (1898-1928), deeds, diagrams of lodes and works, claims, ledgers (1884-1967), maps, programs, receipts and time cards.
