Historical Note

Katharine Hogle Cole (b. 1911) was married to Lester Cole, one of the "Hollywood Ten." She championed the rights of the Native American, and devoted herself to the release of Leonard Peltier, an imprisoned member of AIM (The American Indian Movement).
