Content Description
Tape-recorded oral history interviews conducted with three elders of the Osage community at Hominy, Oklahoma (includes stories and songs); photographs, dissertation documenting the Peyote religion of the Osage Indians, project report; 1990-1993.
Interviews were conducted with Frances Holding, Preston Morrell and Lottie Pratt.
Project is an extension of previous research conducted by Swan on the history and ethnology of the Big Moon Peyote Religion among the Osage Indians of Osage County, Oklahoma.
