Biographical Note

The Endo, Hirano, Iwamoto, Sugiyama, and Tachiki families all originated near the city of Odawara, Japan. Each family eventually immigrated to the United States. These families have close ties to one another due to intermarriages.

Two CDs containing 930 images of the Endo, Hirano, Iwamoto, Sugiyama, and Tachiki families are located in the Multimedia Division of Special Collections (P01404). Copies of the geneology text files are also on CD number 2.
