Content Description
This is an open collection that will continue to accrue materials related to USU's College of Veterinary Medicine, including founding documents, magazines, and oral histories.
Historical Note
Utah State University's Veterinary Medicine program was established in 2012 as part of the Washington-Idaho-Montana-Utah (WIMU) Regional Program, and operated under USU's College of Agriculture and Applied Sciences. In 2022, the Utah Legislature approved funding to establish a full four-year DVM degree program, creating USU's ninth college, The College of Veterinary Medicine. The first class of 4 year students began in the fall of 2024.
