Biographical Note

Frederick William Larson (1880-1929) was born on June 8, 1880 in Grantsville, Utah to Anders Gustave and Anna Sophia Sundqvist Larson. His family moved to Oakley, Idaho, when he was a baby. He married Mary Alice Tolman in October 1903 and they had two children, LeRoy and Annie Laura. A member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Larson served a mission to Colorado in October 1906. Both of the Larsen children died while Frederick was serving his mission, and his wife joined him as a missionary in Colorado for the end of his mission. Afterwards, they had twelve more children (Alvaretta, Amy, Cleo, Fred, Lloyd, Sidney, Ross, Myrtle, Leslie, Louise, Osborn and Zina) born between 1908 and 1928. Frederick William Larson died in Oakley on June 20, 1929.
