"Associated Vintners : the first twenty years", by Lloyd S. Woodburne traces the development of the firm founded primarily by University of Washington faculty members to produce wine from Washington grapes. Woodburne began alone in 1951 and was joined by others about 1956. The history really covers 1956-1970, but appendices include some later material.
