Biographical Note

Sally Kazama was a social worker who had a variety of jobs working with the elderly and had a special interest in nutrition for the aging. She was married to Donald Kazama, also a social worker. She was associated with the Washington State Council on Aging; Seattle-King County Aging Division; Seattle-King County Planning Council on Aging's Nutritional Task Force; Seattle Landmarks Preservation Board; Japanese American Citizens League, Seattle Chapter; Asian Elderly Project, and others. Mrs. Kazama was also a participant in the Washington State Board of Examiners for Nursing Home Administrators.
