Historical Note

To ensure the safety of drinking water, Washington State University developed what is known as the WSU Water Board. The Board is responsible for completing timely testing of the water on all WSU facilities, develop quality assurance programs, and coordinate with the Department of Health (DOH) and other health authorities when any inicdents relating to water occur.
