Historical Note

Aubrey Edwards was a photographer, visual artist, and anthropologist from New Orleans, Louisiana. She received a Master of Science in urban studies from the University of New Orleans and a Masters of Art in anthropology and environment and natural resources with a graduate certificate in geographic information systems and technology from the University of Wyoming. Edwards has worked for non-profit organizations around Wyoming as a youth advocate and with the miners in Kemmerer, Wyoming, to maintain the town’s heritage as a mining community.
