Two thousand, four hundred seventy-nine (2,479) black-and-white aerial photographs taken by the Soil Conservation Service for soil surveys of Douglas County, Or. Aerial photographs range in size from 24"x24" to 11"x11" and smaller. Photographs were taken in 1939-1940, 1967 and 1974-1976. Many are annotated with soil survey information.
