Content Description
This collection is a gathering of materials from former University of Idaho faculty member Barbara Ruth Howard Meldrum. It features materials related to directly connected to the classes she taught, the organizations she was associated with, correspondence with other Universities, and a collection of essays that were used to formulate one of her novels that she edited together.
Historical Note
Barbara Ruth Howard Meldrum is a professor emerita in English at the University of Idaho. She was heavily associated with different writing organizations such as the Western Literature Association (WLA) and the Modern Language Association (MLA), as well as an active contributor of the Let's Talk About it Program. Meldrum had a particular interest in the American and Canadian West as a direct descendant of Oregon Trail Pioneers.
