Bruce Anderson photograph collection, 1954-1979

Bruce Anderson was a professor of irrigation engineering at Utah State University, who also worked as the USU International Programs Director in 1972. Anderson was interested in the transfer of knowledge and technology from developed countries to developing ones. Anderson was heavily involved in was the Consortium for International Development (CID), an organization that promoted international development through research, education, and training. The CID operated from Utah State University and Bruce Anderson was its Executive Director. He took part in various studies, workshops, and projects related to the development of more effective agricultural practices in foreign countries.
