Content Description

The Uintah land development records consists of pamphlets and news clippings encouraging people to come and homestead in the Uintah Basin under Federal Land Laws. Pamphlets have titles such as "The Uintah Reservation: Open to Homesteader, March 10, 1905"; "The Opening of the Uintah Indian Reservation"; "Opportunities of the Uintah Basin"; "The Uintah Basin Where Opportunity Waits"; and "Wealth of the Uintah Basin, Utah".
