Scrapbook materials include photographs, clippings, and documents mostly regarding Todd's time after he was President. Images include the groundbreaking and dedication of Todd Hall, images of him with President Thompson and trustees, and images of him with his wife. Dated approximately 1913-1951.

Dr. Edward H. Todd (1863-1951) was the president of the Univeristy of Puget Sound from 1913 to 1942. Todd was born in 1863 in Council Bloffs, Iowa into a Methodist family. He joined the Methodist clergy at age 19 after recieving his licesne to preach. He was a graduate of the School of Theology, Boston (1892). His educational degrees were B.S., M.A., D.D., LL.D. Simpson; S.T.B., D. Sc. in Education, Boston; and L.H.D. College of Puget Sound. While in College Todd met and married school teacher Florence Anne Todd. The couple had four children.

Dr. Todd began his affiliation with Puget Sound in 1987 when he became a member of the Board of Trustees. In 1905 he was appointed the corresponding secretary of the University of Puget Sound, responsible for fund raising. In 1909 he resigned from his position. He returned to Puget Sound in 1913 as president and served for 29 years.
