Biographical Note
Wood researched and wrote books about the exploration of the Olympic Peninsula as well as the standard hiking guide to the Olympic National Park. He was born Jan 4, 1925 in Springfield, Missouri and moved to Seattle in 1946. He died Dec. 21, 2003.
