Biographical Note
Michael Earl Westrom was born on February 3, 1945 in Great Falls, Montana. He attended the University of Montana in Missoula and graduated in 1970. Westrom built a career as an antiques dealer specializing in Western artifacts and vintage fishing equipment. He lives in Black Eagle, Montana.
Content Description
The Michael E. Westrom Collection of Photographs consists of 37 images of Missoula, Stevensville, Darby, and Arlee, Montana, taken circa 1936. Westrom amassed the photographs through his work as an antiques dealer. Local businesses, building fires, and scenes from the Flathead Indian Reservation are prominent themes in the collection.
